Thought Exchange - Thank You

Thursday, March 17, 2016 - On behalf of the students we serve, I would like to thank all those who contributed thoughts regarding Parkland School Division during Phase 1 of this year's Thought Exchange. We want to know what you think we do well and where we can improve.  At Parkland School Division, we embrace open and honest communication.  Our Ultimate Goal of Student Success & Well-being for all students, is dependent upon engagement with our community and that’s where you come in.  Everyone can make a meaningful contribution to public education.

Phase 2 - Complete

The starring process is now complete.  Close to two thousand people participated in the process generating and assigning stars to over four thousand thoughts.  Thank you for caring so much about public education and the future of our children.  This process is an important tool in our education planning and will help guide important decisions in the future that will allow us to deliver the best possible education to our children.

Your Voice Matters

All information collected as a result of the ThoughtExchange process will be analyzed and distributed to all of our school-based administrators.  They will identify trends and issues that will be further unpacked with the assistance of School Councils and through Parent Engagement evenings designed to create localized strategies to help us achieve our division goals and outcomes.  You'll see it all come alive in the Division Three Year Education Plan and all our school's planning documents.

Your time spent engaged in this process is very much appreciated!
