Online Bus Registration Instructions

Follow these instructions to submit your Bus Registration Form online for the 2017-2018 school year:

  1. Contact Parkland School Division Transportation Services at 780-963-8452 so they can share the 2017-2018 online link you'll need which is different from PSD families compared to Non-PSD families.
  2. Click on the link provided to you by Transportation Services.
  3. PSD Families ONLY: Enter your child’s snapcode in the provided field, and click Continue. This snapcode was included with the letter mailed home to you.


    If you have misplaced or did not receive a snapcode, please contact Transportation Services at 780-963-8452 or for assistance.
  4. Click Create Account.
  5. Fill in the required fields with your information, and click Create Account.

  6. PSD Families ONLY: Confirm your child’s birthdate in the provided field, and click Continue.

  7. Non-PSD Families ONLY: Select New Student Transportation Form 2017-2018.

  8. Read the form introduction, then click Next.

    PSD Families ONLY: You will notice that some form fields have already been filled in with your child’s information. These details have been taken from your child’s existing record in Parkland School Division's student information system, PowerSchool, and transferred over to this form via the snapcode that was provided to you.
  9. Fill in any empty fields with your child’s information. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required. Click the Next button to advance through the form.

    Note: On the third page of the form, you will be able to request additional pick-up and/or drop-off locations for your child. Requests are subject to approval, and an extra fee will be assessed per child, per alternate location.

  10. Review your information on the last page of the form to ensure it is complete and correct. Any problematic fields will be highlighted in red. Click on any field to return to that point in the form. Complete/correct the field, then click Continue to return to the review page.

  11. Click SUBMIT to send your information to Transportation Services.

    Note: Once you submit your information, you cannot return to the form and edit it.
  12. Choose from these options on the final page:
    1. Print a copy of your submitted form for your records.
    2. Access the PowerSchool Parent Portal (PSD Families) or the Acorn Fees System (Non-PSD Families) to pay your fees.

      Note: Fees will not be available for payment until your Bus Registration is assessed and approved by Transportation Services. 

      Bus Pass Pick Up

      Families who have applied online for transportation prior to July 15 will be able to pick up their bus passes at the Centre For Education during the last two weeks of August:

      Dates: August 21 - September 1 (Monday-Friday)
      Time: 11:30am-7pm
      Location: CFE Creativity Room (4603-48 St., Stony Plain)

      Note: The Creativity Room is located in the basement of the Centre for Education, which can be accessed via the doors on the north side of the building.

    3. Complete another Student Transportation Form if you have another child who requires bus transportation.
      Note: PSD Families will be prompted to enter any additional child’s snapcode, after which you can repeat this process from Step 6 to fill in and submit the rest of their form.

  13. Once you have completed and submitted forms for all of your children, click Save & Log Out at the upper right of the screen to conclude this process and secure your information.

Note: At any time while completing a form, you may save your progress to resume at a later time by clicking Save & Log Out. The system will also log you out automatically if your account remains idle for an extended length of time. In both cases, you can pick up exactly where you left off by signing in again.

PSD Families can visit for assistance with any snapcode difficulties. If you have misplaced or did not receive a snapcode, contact Transportation Services to obtain one.

If you see an “Invalid Email Address” message:

  • Make sure there are no spaces before or after the email you have entered
  • Make sure you are that you are using a regular email address (
